Hi there

Welcome to our site.  Allow us to introduce ourselves.

We are Mark and Janet McFadyen and our Kennel is based in Ayrshire, South West of Scotland. As you can see our love for dogs started a very long time ago. The rearing and training has just been a part of everyday life.

In 1984, the year we got married, we started with Rottweilers and pretty soon we became successful and in fact it was our last Rottie that got us into the working side of dogs.

In 1998 I started to train in Schutzhund dog sport, which was a great foundation  in the disciplines  required for a police  dog.  A big thanks to a good friend, Dougie Bannerman for passing on his great knowledge and wisdom in this sport

In 2006 we decided to supply dogs trained in all disciplines for the police, and in the interim period of 2003 we were introduced to Marion Sallaerts & Leon Caris where a great friendship developed. We imported a female Belgian Shepherd Dog “Deuce” (Malinois breed)) from Marion Sallaerts; (www.marraxplace.com) and after seeing these dogs work in KNPV (Royal Dutch Police Dog Society) I decided that I would train for this sport.  At this point I must thank Sergeant Simon Young a friend and a real dog man for his support and patience.  Deuce went back to The Netherlands where she worked with Marion and gained her PH1 during May of 2008, a big thank you to Marion and Leon for their friendship and also for giving me the chance to bring one of these dogs back to Scotland.

I could not finish without thanking the most important people in my life my wife Janet and son Steven thanks for all your support and last but not least my Mother for planting the seed from a very young age.
